Vocal powerhouse Cassa Jackson has come a long way from her sassy portrayal of Rizzo in the Hurtwood Theatre.

Her relatable songs about relationships, including ‘Suits U’ and ‘Parallel Universe’, have exceeded 12 million streams on Spotify and her new singles ‘Sophie’ and ‘Right Girl, Wrong Guy’ have been played on Radio 1. With nominations for an iHeart Radio Award for ‘TikTok Songwriter of the Year’ and an AIM Award for Best Live Performer under her belt, Cassa has supported many industry legends including The Jacksons, Jocelyn Brown and JLS on their Beat Again reunion tour at 28 major arenas all over the UK, including 4 nights at the O2 arena.

Cassa’s songs have taken her to festivals all over the UK including the Isle of Wight Festival, Cambridge Club Festival (with Diana Ross) and Mello Festival (with Rag ‘n’ Bone Man). Cassa has even collaborated with the famous DJ Steff Da Campo who made his name in the global electronic music scene.

2022 ended on a high with her songs playing on Radio 1 as she was finishing her arena tour supporting Blue. Cassa is not your average songwriter. Her First-class Honours degree in French and Spanish from Bristol University means that she has the versatility to write and perform in those languages too. Indeed, her international outlook has taken her to shows in Gran Canaria, and to South Africa, where she performed on the nation’s leading morning TV programme Expresso Show and at the Pink Loerie Mardi Gras and Arts Festival. Her first solo gig at the Omeara was a sell out and there are rumours that she may support Lionel Richie soon so watch out for Cassa this year.
